What are Your Peers Predicting?
Barb, It is so interesting that the survey shows the vast majority of bankers think there will be little to no inflation by year end 2021. I guess that is only a little over 7 months from now. I am very curious to what they think will happen in 2022-2023.
I wonder how bankers would have responded to the question about paying for the infrastructure spending if the question would have been phrased how the spending "would" be funded instead of "should". I suggest that those who think this spending will not primarily be funded by additional debt are observing dynamics I am unable to detect.
Thanks for the report!

I love surveys because they are a great opportunity to see how my opinions square with what other people are thinking. If you do, too, please check out IntraFi Network's latest Bank Executive Business Outlook Survey. It is jam packed with interesting feedback from over 500 community bankers around the country. You'll find out what other bankers are projecting for loan demand, deposit composition, and funding costs as well as what they think of the government's infrastructure proposal, when employees will return to the office, and if cryptocurrencies factor into their five-year plan.
