Voice Response Units

​Our VRU usage has declined every year over the past 4 years down 11%,9%,6% and 4% over that span. We have not done much analysis about the costs of maintaining the VRU but after this discussion I think we will. I believe it is a dying channel and I my sense is that with so many other alternatives it probably wouldn't be missed if it was turned off.

We are looking at the cost of the application and the fact that it is used by a finite number of customers and wondered if anyone has done away with this product, what the reaction was and what did you do to mitigate the reaction.
