We've doubled down by investing in culture to meaningfully aid in recruiting/retaining outstanding talent. Also over communicating expectations clarity in supporting Talent Management and Recruiting (TM&R). We eschew using the HR acronym in our company as it is implicitly administrative, not inherently strategic, and a drain on expenses.
See attached Execution Roadmap that outlines what defines success in TM&R, the leading and lagging indicators to engender success, along with how management will support this game-breaking role in the company. We take recruiting, onboarding, integrating, and developing associates very seriously. It’s not perfect and far from easy. But it’s definitely working!
