Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT., teamed up with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., on a plan to cap interest rates at 15% and bring back postal banking. This piece in The Nation comprehensively explains the plan from an industry critic's perspective. It's always good to know what your opponents are saying. The Democratic-Socialists will never get either of these ideas through the GOP-controlled Senate, but politics is a fickle business and you never know when power will shift.
