Seeking recommendations on loan committee approval platforms

Kyle

We moved all of our board meetings and loan committee meetings to Diligent books probably 5 years ago. The process has gone surprisingly well and especially in the loan committee setting it is very helpful and spurred more individual thought as people aren't intimidated by raising their hand in a room. The votes are tabulated in real time and the loan committee chair or board chair has access to the vote tally's on their computer so it is much more efficient than counting votes. When you come to the meeting you sign in digitally and when you vote your electronic signature is placed on the signature line. The meeting agenda and votes are then archived electronically which is great for reference to past meetings and votes.

Overall it has been a great program and has made our meeting much more efficient.

Subject: Seeking recommendations on loan committee approval platforms

We are looking to migrate to a digital platform for loan committee approvals (from physical signatures on a hard copy, which is then scanned to PDF) that will facilitate electronic signature approvals by inside and outside directors, as well as perhaps a workflow management aspect to remind folks in the event the have not yet responded to approval requests.  Any strong recommendations on what has worked well for this type of thing in your organization?
