rate increase

We lose very few CD customers to internet banks. Our customer base appears to be happier doing business with people they trust and keeping money working in their communities. We can't match the rates offered but our service levels and reputation seems to overcome that the vast majority of the time.

​I see some "Internet" banks (banks that have no physical presence in the markets we serve) offering some ridiculously high CD rates.  How can a small community bank compete with that?
