American Banker posted a 22-minute podcast about deflationary and inflationary expectations as we enter unprecedented situations. I recommend to all as this podcast delivers a variety of points of view as we explore new economic territory now.  There are too many variables to make clear predictions, but I do know that we should be careful to not expect that this is a replay of the Great Recession. The causation is starkly different. The economic policy tools look familiar but the rush of monetary and fiscal policy is dramatic in swiftness. The results and consequences are clearly unknown at this point as the podcast points out that economics is more than the math. Economics is very dependent upon the beliefs, psychology, and energy within all the participants in the economy.  Good things to consider here.
