Management Information System (MIS) help

I'm sorry that you didn't receive a public response to your question. I was chatting about your question with our CIO. We are not a bank, but we often work with our Network member banks on technical issues. Our CIO would be happy to share his own thoughts on issues to consider when bringing in an MIS person. Please direct message me if you are interested in talking to him, and I'll provide you with his contact information and availability over the next week.

Subject: Management Information System (MIS) help

New user here.  Over the past five years my $85 million community bank has made a significant investment in various technology platforms.  We have not fully gained the productivity and quality control benefits I originally envisioned.  I am considering bringing in an MIS person to help my staff better understand the power of the technology available and gain a better understanding of the value of the information within our various systems.

Have any of you been through a similar thought process?  If so, what sort of experience did you have.

Thanks for your help.
