Are you aware of Lending Tree's DepositAccounts.com site helping anyone who Googles "Is it Worth Paying an Early Withdrawal Penalty to Break My CD?"   When depositors run the numbers as we go up from this ultra-low interest rate, what are your defensive and offensive strategies to protect your deposit base and profit?

You can see in this simple example that the financial incentive for the CD holder is significant if they can go from a .60% rate to a rate that is still below today's FHLB advance rates such as 1.20%.  How long will it take before CD depositors discover the benefits of moving their money?
