Mary, thanks for sharing the ACH scam with us. We've not yet seen this particular scam. On the other hand, last week we got hit by a number of check fraud scams. I believe technology is part of the solution but I think the most important piece to mitigating these scams is a more engaged workforce. Employees who are engaged with their work and serving customers is still the best defense in protecting our customers and the bank.

Has anyone found effective ways to prevent customers from falling for all the scams going on? We are getting fraudulent ACH's for $4-8,000 a pop and the customers are getting the money and sending it to the scammers before we know it's going on. And that's just one example!
