Seventy-one percent of respondents to S&P Global Market Intelligence's third-quarter survey on the banking outlook expect their institutions to grow deposits over the next 12 months. However, their expectations for loan growth and auto-loan credit quality weren't as positive, with 55% of respondents expecting a recession within the next year.
